Fortress focuses on creating unique and well-built products that will turn heads and last generations.
Design
The starting point for ideas often begins with customer provided pictures. Sharing photos of what you like will help me understand your needs and desires. Then, together, we can design a piece that will not only fit your space but fit your taste.
Proposal
When I have enough information from you about your design, I will provide a proposal. You will generally receive it in your email before 3D models, or after the final design has been signed off on. An itemized list with pricing will be available if there are multiple items or designs. Projects require a deposit for materials, the amount will be stated in the proposal.
3D Models
3D Models are the most reliable way of proofing a concept with my clients. After I take precise measurements of the location in your home and pull ideas from pictures you have provided, I am able to start rendering images of possible finished products with color and texture. Models are a paid product and you will receive several images with different angles. If more edits are needed, we can discuss an additional cost. Customers that have purchased renderings have agreed that it is definitely worth it!
Fabrication
Fabrication takes place in Fortress’ professional woodshop rather than your clean home.
The size and complexity of your project will vary the production time.
Typical build times are between one and eight weeks.
Finishing
Choosing the wood or finish that fits well in your space will help support a balanced and cohesive addition. Feel free to ask for insight on color, texture, and design. Custom projects can be color matched and sheen matched to existing wood or decor to create a seamless look.
Delivery & install
Installs will be scheduled nearing the end of the fabrication stage. They typically last two to six days.
Protecting your home during installation is very important to us. Some areas may be covered in drop cloths or plastic during certain processes to protect your home.
Collaboration & Extras
Fortress is willing to work with other contractors to fulfill collabroative projects. Although, with a professional remodeling background, I can also fulfill many extra questions, add-ons, and requests that you may have. Just ask! The goal is to make your vision a reality.
